Machine Tech students win canned food drive

Students brought in 748 canned food items to stock local food pantries in our Annual Canned Food Drive, and Machine Technology students won the competition, collecting 316 cans. As the victors, they enjoyed a holiday breakfast during homeroom this morning and will have their shop's name engraved on the winner's plaque. They are not new to this award. Machine Technology students won for three years in a row, but Auto Technology students took it away last year. This year, sophomores in carpentry collected 147 cans and Marketing students brought in 91 cans. The competition is run by our Peer to Peer Club members and Advisor Roxanne Grover.
