Students have been participating in a Positive Post-It campaign launched by our English department. The colorful display started on the glass wall overlooking the carpentry shop and was then moved to the library because of its growing size. Students are asked to post a comment with a positive message and take one that appeals to them. A few of the more than 100 comments available are: "Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations." "Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Reward yourself." "Never be afraid to speak up. You matter." The campaign was inspired by C. Haacke of Alberta, CA and is the subject of TedTalksTeen: Positivity Sticks.
