Whittier Tech is proud to announce that it has been named one of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (DESE) Schools of Recognition for 2024 along with only 56 other schools ranging from traditional high schools to middle schools and elementary schools, to charter schools all across Massachusetts. Whittier Tech was the only Career and Technical School in the Commonwealth to receive this recognition for 2024. This prestigious designation is awarded to schools that demonstrate high achievement, significant growth, and consistently meet or exceed accountability targets as part of DESE’s annual accountability reporting process.
"This recognition is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire school community," said Maureen Lynch, Superintendent of Whittier Tech. "Our staff’s commitment to providing an outstanding education, both in the academic and career technical areas, empowers students to succeed and contributes directly to this accomplishment.
