A US Constitution with two houses? An invasion of Taiwan by China? A nuclear blast? NATO without Estonia? Just imagine… These were just some of the outcomes of the Crisis Conference that Whittier’s UN team participated in on November 22-23, 2024 at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The Crisis Conference puts students in the role of world leaders and policymakers dealing with historical or potential world issues. Students work together, through debate and negotiation to find a solution to the problem.
