✨ Juniors and seniors from Whittier Tech’s Cosmetology program recently visited Spa Tech Institute in North Andover to explore career pathways in massage therapy and advanced esthetics. Following a relaxing facial service, students participated in a hands-on workshop where they created exfoliating hand and lip scrubs.

🧱 Masonry students from Whittier Tech recently completed a hands-on community project at Lions Park in Salisbury, MA, for the Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department. Over the course of three days, students removed existing wood windows and skillfully replaced them with concrete masonry units. The final result was outstanding! This project, led by Masonry Instructor Paul Boucher, provided an invaluable learning experience while making a lasting impact in the community.

🍽️ Culinary Arts & Hospitality students at Whittier Tech got a true “Taste of Haverhill” this week!
The students visited local favorites such as Wicked Big Café, Battlegrounds, Maria’s, Casa Blanca, and G’s Restaurant. They sampled delicious food while gaining valuable insights into entrepreneurship in the hospitality industry. A big thank you to these fantastic local businesses for their warm hospitality and inspiration!

👏 Congratulations to Natalie Delano, a member of the class of 2025, for being awarded the 2025 DAR Good Citizen Award for Whittier Tech!
At the March 23 Awards Ceremony held by Brigadier General James Brickett—Old Newbury Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Natalie was honored for her exceptional dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism—traits that embody what it means to be a good citizen.
Natalie received a certificate, a pin, and a monetary award for her achievements. This fall, she will continue her commitment to service by studying nursing at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI.

👏 Congratulations to Whittier Tech's Model United Nations Club for an outstanding performance at UMass Lowell's three-day MUN Conference, held March 27–29! Competing against 200 students from 13 schools, the club earned three awards while debating global issues such as the Rights of Stateless People and Political Instability in Sudan.
