Oh Chemis-tree, Oh Chemis-tree

Students in Ms. Fritchy’s chemistry classes discovered how lovely a tree with a science theme could be after they decorated one with ornaments based on The Periodic Table. The “star” on top was represented by a helium (He) balloon. Students used colored paper to design and sketch chemical compounds and hang them on the classroom tree. “It was a creative homework assignment and we had fun decorating it,” said Alex Alvarez, a senior in the class.
