Whittier float wins First Place in Haverhill VFW Santa Parade

We are so proud of our art students and new art teacher Erin Foster and all of the shops who helped build our award-winning float! Whittier won The Commander’s Award, First Place Most Original/Creative in the Annual VFW Haverhill Santa Parade on Sunday.

“It was a really fun process,” said Art Teacher Ms. Foster. “It was an amazing way to get to know how the school functions as a whole and how the shops pull together and how supportive an atmosphere Whittier has. I’m proud to be part of this school and proud we won first place, but regardless it was an awesome experience.”
