Join us for our Winter Concert Thursday Night

Enjoy the sounds of the season at a free concert Thursday night in our auditorium. Whittier’s 24-member Chorus will host their annual Winter Concert, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.

Student’s voices will be accompanied by student and faculty musicians playing guitars, keyboards and drums. Musical selections will include: Carol of the Bells, Wonderful Life, Corner of the Sky, Million Dreams, We Dance, What the World Needs Now is Love, Christmas Eve, Christmas Canon, The World for Christmas, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.  

 “There is some beautiful music being made,” said Linda Urban, music director at Whittier, “and we invite everyone to come out and join us. It’s a great way to relax and enjoy the holiday spirit.”

 Members of the chorus are: Freshmen: Madison Jameson, Norah Moore and Jennifer Mijangos of Haverhill, Patrick Kelleher of Amesbury, and Destiny Duston of Merrimac; Sophomores: Ana Barrera, Liz Brea, David Barreto and Wyatt Dauphinais of Haverhill, Kayla Dube of Salisbury and Isabella Gallagher of Merrimac; Juniors: Adriana Byrne, Arianna Connor, Edward Gregoire, MacKenzie Harris, Tabitha McMinniman, Alexis Smith and Candace Walker of Haverhill, Ryan Bresnahan of Amesbury; Seniors: Hannah Bourque, Hayley Bourque, and Neiyelis Vazquez of Haverhill, Zacharay DePaolo of Newburyport, and Alliana Fennelly of Salisbury.

Musicians are: Music teacher Linda Urban on piano, Special Education Teacher Mike Ruggelo on drums, Special Education Teacher Donald Pierce on guitar and  Senior Gareth Chamberlain of Amesbury and Junior Wallace Ziehler of Newbury on bass.
