We are happy we came to Whittier because….
It gave me a lot of job opportunities and prepared me for work. The teachers taught me how to properly handle job and people situations.
--Sydney Stewart, Hospitality and Business Management
I've met some awesome people and I have had some really great teachers.
--Sarah McCarthy, Engineering Technology
I made lots of friends.
--Edyana Gonzalez, Early Education and Care
Whittier gave me the chance to let my talents show and formed a confident young woman. I had the chance to meet some incredible people who had my back through it all, and I’m so lucky for that.
--Madison Herries, Early Childhood Education
I made some amazing friends along the way.
--Briana Davis, Cosmetology
It has really shaped me into who I want to be instead of someone I had to be.
--Belle Piscitelli, CAD
I got experience in the healthcare field, which is going to help me in the future. I also had experience with multitasking between shop week and class week, which will definitely help me in the future.
--Alexia White, Medical Assisting
I can leave with a full-time job and I’m going to have money coming in every week. Also because I know I made some lifetime friends.
--Dale F. Hastings, HVAC
I got to learn stuff I didn’t know that I could do and now I know I can do it.
--Lilah Swain, Design Visual Communications
I liked the environment and the way we learned, and I liked the teachers and the alternating weeks. I’ve really enjoyed my time here. I just wish we had more dances.
--Crystal Jimenez, Business Technology & Marketing
If I didn’t go to Whittier, I wouldn’t have my hairdressing license and I wouldn’t already be looking for a salon job before high school even ends. I am ahead of everyone else my age that went to a public school
--Molly Deziel, Cosmetology
It’s an amazing school. Everyone is so friendly.
--Jyrell Ruiz, Carpentry
Education wise, I got to learn a trade while being a normal high school student. But it was a bummer that we didn't get to have a prom or graduation. Also, I wish our school was less strict and gave us a bit more freedom.
--Isaury Hernandez, Medical Assisting
The teachers care about each and every student. There is a club for everyone and it made me get outside of my comfort zone in a good way.
--Meghan Jegorow, Business Technology and Marketing
I’m really happy the way my life turned out. I got to find myself, my dreams and opportunities from this school. Thank you Whittier Tech.
--Breanna Vasily, Culinary Arts
Whittier was a game changer for me. It provided me with opportunities I couldn’t have earned elsewhere and provided me with friends that will last a lifetime. Learning my trade also provided me with a work ethic, and skills that will always stay with me. I couldn’t have imagined a better experience than what I had here.
--John Latauskas, Electrical
I got to make new friends and also got to pick up a trade.
--Zachary Englehart, Culinary Arts
It made me who I am today, and I found my forever friends!
--Allison Flanagan, Dental Assisting
I wouldn’t be the successful carpenter that I am if I hadn’t.
--Emily Wilson, Carpentry
My life would’ve been so different if I hadn’t come to Whittier Tech. I wouldn’t have met the people who I want to be forever friends. Whittier Tech is filled with so many different people, there’s no way you’re going to leave without finding your best friend.
--Kailee Chaput, Electrical
I found what I want to do with the rest of my life and I’m prepared to work.
--Jordyn Perley, Auto Body
Whittier Tech has set me up to have a great future.
--Daniel Shea, Electrical
I met lifelong friends and learned a plethora of new things. Coming here is one of the best decisions I’ve made so far. It not only teaches you a skill, it certifies you for different licenses.
--Heather Twombly, Culinary Arts
Whittier helped me make my dream come true of becoming a dental assistant and I couldn’t be more grateful
--Bashley Morales, Dental Assistant
Both of my siblings are graduates of Whittier and I’m happy to say that I’m the third.
--Jazmary Sanchez, Dental assisting
I found my niche in machining, I came here to do robotics and I’m leaving a precision machinist. It really opens your eyes to many potential trades.
--Gareth Chamberlain, Marketing
Attending Whittier gave me the opportunity to become part of not just a community, but a family
--Jennie DeMille, Allied Health
I met more people than I possibly could at any other high school, and I really enjoyed separating class work from my trade.
--Matthew Glynn, Electrical
