New Parent Orientation Nights and Important Dates for All Students

It is hard to believe that the new school year is almost here. I hope everyone is enjoying their last few weeks of summer vacation. Once again, I would like to welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year.  Please check important dates below.

  • Monday, August 23, 2021  - Parent Orientation for Grade 9 and New Students @ 6:00-7:30pm/Auditorium

  • Tuesday, August 24, 2021 - Parent Orientation for Grade 9 and New Students @ 6:00-7:30pm/Auditorium

  • Tuesday, August 31, 2021 - Grade 9 and New Students Report/Early Release @ 12:00 noon

  • Wednesday, September 1, 2021 - All Students Report 

  • Thursday, September 2, 2021 - All Students Report

  • Friday, September 3, 2021 - No School

I hope you will be able to attend one of the Parent Orientation Nights. You do not have to attend both - we have 2 dates to hopefully meet your schedule better. This year’s orientation will focus on helping parents get familiar with Whittier Tech, reviewing student services, discussing parent/student involvement opportunities, and touring the building. 

I look forward to meeting you at the Orientation.  

Lastly, please remember that face coverings are required inside the school for all.

Es difícil creer que el nuevo año escolar está casi aquí. Espero que todos estén disfrutando de sus últimas semanas de vacaciones de verano. Una vez más, me gustaría darles la bienvenida al año escolar 2021-2022. Compruebe las fechas importantes a continuación.

  • Miércoles 1 de septiembre de 2021 - Informe de todos los estudiantes

  • Jueves 2 de septiembre de 2021 - Informe de todos los estudiantes

  • Viernes, 3 de septiembre de 2021 - No hay clases

Espero que pueda asistir a una de las Noches de Orientación para Padres. No tiene que asistir a ambos, tenemos 2 fechas para cumplir mejor con su horario. La orientación de este año se enfocará en ayudar a los padres a familiarizarse con Whittier Tech, revisar los servicios estudiantiles, discutir las oportunidades de participación de padres / estudiantes y recorrer el edificio.
