SkillsUSA District 4 Competition

This morning, March 17, 2022, 182 Whittier Tech students took qualifying exams for District 4 of SkillsUSA Massachusetts Competition.

Students gathered in the gymnasium and auditorium to take assessments in their vocational area, SkillsUSA frameworks, OSHA Safety and Health, and employability. Most exams were 125 questions.

This year’s theme for the organization is “Champions at Work. United as One.” Every student at Whittier Tech is registered as a member of the Whittier Tech Chapter.

The SkillsUSA Framework, which impacts the lives of America’s future workforce through the development of personal, workplace, and technical skills grounded in academics, reveals how career and technical education programs and SkillsUSA are relevant in today’s economy. Pillars of the Framework include; innovative programming, quality instruction, and industry partnerships focused on preparing students to succeed at work and in life.
