October Student of the Month - Joelmy Lantigua

Our October Student of the Month is Joelmy Lantigua. 

Joelmy is the son of Minerva Matrille and Elias Lantigua of Haverhill. 

Joelmy is a senior student in the CAD/Drafting program.  He is diligently working towards his future goal of becoming an architect and takes every day at Whittier as an opportunity to learn, grow, and give back to others.  His shop teacher describes him as diligent and enthusiastic.  He has also shown great leadership in and outside of the classroom as a tour guide for 8th graders and as a Peer Leader at freshman orientation.  He was recognized by administration for his maturity, poise and strong communication skills.  We are so thankful to have students like Joelmy at Whittier Tech!
