CTE Month Day 8, Cosmetology and Hospitality Management

As we end SkillsUSA Week, let’s take a look at how students in the Hospitality Management and Cosmetology shops view CTE as we continue our month-long celebration of CTE Month.

One of the Essential Elements of the SkillsUSA Framework that is evident in these two programs comes from the Workplace Skills component: Multicultural Sensitivity and Awareness. Students in these programs pride themselves on respecting all people and cultures by fostering appropriate and respectful workplace relationships. Working in these industries, you become successful when you learn about other cultures and value diversity to treat everyone with respect. That is what service is all about.
