CTE Month Day 2, Masonry and Carpentry

As we continue our CTE Month Celebration, let’s visit the Masonry and Carpentry programs to learn what CTE means to them.

One of the Essential Elements of the SkillsUSA Framework that is evident in these two programs comes from the Technical Skills component: Safety and Health. Students in Masonry and Carpentry follow workplace health, wellness, financial, and safety guidelines to ensure everyone remains under the current safety regulations and standards. Following all safety procedures also includes wearing appropriate safety attire. What safety attire is necessary for these programs?
