September Student of the Month - Katie Rocco

Our September Student of the Month is Katharine (Katie) Rocco.

Katie is the daughter of Melinda and Richard Rocco of Newburyport, MA.

Katie is a grade 12 student who is completing her final year in Marketing/Business Management.  Last year, she participated in DECA and SkillsUSA to enhance and improve her experience in her trade.  She was not only a great team member to her fellow DECA peers, she also represented WVT at SkillsUSA competitions at both State and National levels.  While attending SkillsUSA Nationals in Atlanta over the summer, Katie won a gold medal, despite many obstacles including the loss of all of her luggage and belongings!  We are proud of Katie for her commitment to succeed, even in the presence of adversity.
