WT Public Services Now Open

Whittier Tech is pleased to share that the following services are now open to the public!

Poet’s Inn and Cafe: Offers breakfast, lunch, coffee, and other delicious treats. Open 8:30-10am and 11-12:30pm during school days. Closed on Wednesdays, weekends, holidays, and for in-school functions.

The Whittier Cosmetology Salon offers a variety of beauty services to the public. All services are performed by students and supervised by an instructor. Students are trained in Hair Styling, Hair Cutting, and a variety of Hair Coloring Techniques, Permanent Waving, Skin Care, and Nail Care.

Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Our warm and welcoming atmosphere makes for an enjoyable experience. We ask clients to allow time in their schedule for student/teacher consultation, instruction, and assessment of completed student work.

Cosmetology students are able to help women who are undergoing cancer treatment feel more beautiful. The program allows students to fit and style wigs for women suffering from hair loss. Whittier’s Cosmetology Salon will be dedicated to this program on the first Wednesday of each month. School Store - Our online store is available! Please feel free to browse our items and order on-line at https://theshops.whittiertech.org

Students majoring in Marketing and Business Technology operate two stores on the Whittier campus appropriately named "J. Greenleaf" and "Whitt's End." Customers will find everything from school brand apparel to jewelry and novelty items. The stores are open from 9am-1p.m. on school days (closed 12-12:20 for lunch).
