March Student of the Month - Michael Leary

Our March Student of the Month is Michael Leary.

Michael is the son of Kevin and Dawn Leary of Haverhill.

Michael is a senior in our HVAC program.  His shop teacher, Mr. Marchand, recently received a letter from the Vice President of Operations at Michael's coop job, S.G. Torrice Company.  The letter spoke very highly of his work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to be part of a team.  In addition to impressing his employers, Michael has won the respect of his Whittier Tech teachers and coaches as well.  A member of the varsity soccer team all four years, he served as captain this past fall.  He is also a member of the National Technical Honor Society, holds several industry certifications and credentials, and has spent time as a volunteer at homeless shelters.
