🌎 Join the Eco-Brick Revolution! 🧱✨
Whittier Tech's Environmental Club is thrilled to kick off our Soft Plastic Drive to create Eco-Bricks! 🥳
💡 What’s an Eco-Brick?
Eco-Bricks are plastic bottles packed tightly with clean, used soft plastics. They’re used as sustainable building materials, keeping harmful plastics out of landfills and waterways. 🌊🐾
✅ What We Need:
Donate dry, clean soft plastics to Room 3110 (Mr. Burke)! Examples:
🥔 Chip bags
🍬 Candy wrappers
🥬 Produce bags
📦 Plastic film
🛍️ Any flexible plastic you can scrunch into a bottle!
🌱 Why It Matters:
Soft plastics wreak havoc on our planet, contributing to microplastics in our water, soil, and even our food. By turning them into Eco-Bricks, we’re reducing waste and helping protect both humans and wildlife.
Let’s turn trash into treasure—one brick at a time! 🧡 Bring your soft plastics to Room 3110 and be part of the change!

When a staff member is honored as Employee of the Month, they enjoy a free breakfast at Poet’s Inn. But what happens when the entire Culinary staff earns this title? Whittier Tech’s Administration team knew they had to do things differently! 🥐☕
This morning, the Culinary instructors got to sit back and enjoy a delicious breakfast cooked and served by the WT Admin team—with a little help from some of our expert Culinary students. 🍴✨ To complete the experience, Administration suited up in aprons, hairnets, and chef hats for the occasion. 👩🍳👨🍳
