Dental Assisting Students Participate in Professional Dress Day for SkillsUSA
Earlier this month, Dental Assisting students participated in "Professional Dress Day" with Dental Assisting Instructors Mrs. Costa and Mrs. Deveau. Students and staff participated in dressing in professional clothing as if they were going into an interview. Using the SkillsUSA interview format and practice questions, students were asked to go through the interview process as if they were applying for a dental assisting position. Framework Fridays have provided our students with excellent vocabulary to identify and apply their skills during an interview. We recently focused on Adaptability and Flexibility as a SkillsUSA element which students were able to articulate as a skill they have.
