No School - Friday, Nov. 10 in Observance of Veteran's Day

There will be no school as we observe Veteran's Day.

Veterans Day is a day dedicated to honoring and expressing gratitude to military veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. It falls on November 11th each year and originally commemorated the end of World War I. The armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

Over time, Veterans Day evolved into a day to honor all American military veterans, both living and deceased, for their selfless service and sacrifices to protect and preserve the freedoms we enjoy. It's a time for reflection, appreciation, and acknowledging the bravery and dedication of those who have served in the armed forces. School resumes on Monday, November 13th.
