Staff Dominance Continues: Faculty Triumph in Annual Students vs. Staff Basketball Showdown

In an electrifying display of athleticism and camaraderie, the much-anticipated students vs. staff basketball game, organized by the Student Government, unfolded yesterday afternoon. Under the meticulous guidance of advisors Dr. Marino and Miss Devenney, the court was ablaze with fierce competition and spirited cheers from both sides.

Despite valiant efforts from the student team, coached by Mr. Charbonneau, victory ultimately eluded them as the seasoned staff players clinched a resounding win with a final score of 40-22. Dr. Marino and Miss Devenney, donning their coaching shirts, led the staff team to yet another triumphant year.

The clash marked a rematch from last year's showdown, where the teachers emerged victorious, solidifying their status as the reigning champions. 

Rocco and Gino Figliola entertained the crowd as they entered the gym and they also performed a rock rendition of the National Anthem to set the scene. 

The atmosphere was charged with excitement as spectators witnessed thrilling plays, remarkable displays of teamwork, and some funhearted assistance by either the referee or Mrs. Fleming. 

As the dust settles on another exhilarating matchup, the students vow to regroup and train harder for next year's showdown, eager to reclaim the coveted title from their formidable mentors. Meanwhile, the staff bask in the glory of their hard-earned victory, celebrating another year of triumph on the basketball court.
