Whittier Tech Will Host Community Career Fair - Thursday, March 21, 6-8pm

The first-ever Whittier Tech Community Career Fair will be held on March 21st from 6-8 p.m. in the school Gymnasium. Free of charge, the event is open to all high school seniors within the 11 communities that represent Whittier Tech. The fair provides an opportunity for students to connect with industry professionals and learn about potential career paths.

Currently, around 55 businesses are registered to attend: spanning industries from Cosmetology to General Health and Engineering to Technology, and including companies such as Ulta Beauty, Milltown Health and Rehabilitation, and the Massachusetts Water Works Association.

Attending the fair will be members of the school’s Career Technical Initiative (CTI). The CTI is an initiative aimed at providing students with access to training programs in fields such as welding, carpentry, culinary arts, and electrical work so that participants can find meaningful jobs after completion of the program.
